Kelly Monaco Teams With Shanna Moakler to Launch and Host ‘Bad Bunnies’ Podcast (2025)

The first post-General Hospital project has finally been revealed for longtime favorite, Kelly Monaco (ex-Sam McCall). Back at the end of October of 2024, the character of Sam was killed-off, which sent many fans petitioning to get Monaco rehired to the show which had been her home for over 21 years.

While seemingly laying low for the last several months, Monaco has been prepping her next show business moves and one of them was announced on Thursday! Kelly is teaming with Shanna Moakler for a brand-new podcast, entitled Bad Bunnies.

According to the social media teaser drop on Instagram, it shares that Bad Bunnies will be “Unfiltered. Untamed. Unapologetic. We’re bringing you Hollywood secrets, wild stories, pop culture tea, and real talk—nothing is off-limits!” There is no word as to when the premiere episode will be available or on what platform, although the post does indicate that it’s coming soon.

The title Bad Bunnies seems to be a riff off of the fact that both Kelly and Shanna were Playboy Magazine’s Playmates of the Month. Monaco, back in April of 1997, and Moakler in December of 2001, plus a play on the name of Grammy-Award winning global artist, “Bad Bunny.”

Since the reveal of the new podcast venture, Kelly’s fans are hoping that this will be the platform where Monaco will finally tell her side of the story on what happened at GH behind the scenes prior to her being let go. In story on-screen, after Sam donated her liver to save the life of Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins), her IV was injected with a lethal dose of digitalis by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), which caused Sam to go into heart failure. Since Sam’s death, Renault was brought to justice when Josslyn (Eden McCoy) shot and killed him.

For those who may not be as of aware of Shanna Moakler, after winning Miss USA in 1995, Shanna landed an acting role in Pacific Blue in 1998. She was later named Playboy magazine’s Playmate of the Month. Then, she ventured into reality TV in 2005, starring in MTV’s Meet the Barkers, which followed the lives of her and her then-husband Travis Barker. She has also appeared in numerous primetime series. Shanna currently serves as the executive producer for Miss Nevada USA.

Kelly and Shanna are asking fans to drop a comment in the Instagram announcement post, and let them know,”What topics do you want us to spill on? Reality TV chaos? Dating disasters? Hollywood drama? BadBunniesPodcast#HollywoodUnfiltered#BunnyTales”

Three icons board the luxury cruise ship procedural drama Doctor Odyssey on an all-new episode this Thursday night, March 27th at 9pm ET/PT on ABC and streaming on Hulu.

In the episode entitled Sophisticated Ladies, Knots Landing favorite and General Hospital alum, Donna Mills (ex-Abby and ex-Madeline, respectively), along with Charlie’s Angels icon, Jaclyn Smith (ex-Kelly) and Grammy-Award winning music superstar, Shania Twain are all-aboard for the romance and medical drama that ensues.

According to the official longlines for the episode from ABC, “Tristan strives to prove himself to Avery; Captain Massey is shaken by shocking news; Sophisticated Ladies Week brings a disruptive passenger onboard; the crew navigates the delicate care of a terminal patient.”

Doctor Odyssey comes from creator, Ryan Murphy and stars Joshua Jackson (ex-Dawson Creek) as Dr Max Bankman, the new on-board doctor for a luxury cruise ship where the staff works hard and plays harder. It’s all-hands-on-deck as Max and his small but mighty medical team navigate unique medical crises and each other, miles from shore. The cast also includes: Don Johnson, Phillipa Soo and Sean Teale.

In the just released promo for Thursday night’s episode; it features Donna Mills in scenes with Joshua Jackson’s Max, where her character says, “Are you attracted to me?” Meanwhile, Shania Twain shares scenes with Don Johnson’s Captain Massey, and in her entrance says to him, “Happy to see me?” Clearly they have a past together!

Donna Mills also took to her Instagram on Tuesday to share the promo in which she is featured, and wrote, “The trailer just dropped for my episode of Dr. Odyssey. Airing this Thursday night on ABC. #drodyssey#sophisticatedladies ”

It’s the end of the line for now for Valentine Cassadine. On the Monday, March 24th episode of General Hospital some final goodbyes and getting some things order were paramount for him as it also marked the last appearance (for now) of popular star, James Patrick Stuart.

In story while at the PCPD interrogation room, Valentin asks Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to take care of his daughter, Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) financially when he explains how he was the one who basically locked Ava (Maura West) out of getting her hands on any of the Cassadine inheritance. Alexis says her hands are tied, and she has to protect the estate for Ace until he’s twenty-one. However, she goes on to say, she will give Charlotte all the love and support she could ever want. Alexis doesn’t understand why he did what he did with the Pikeman Arms deal/WSB mess (neither do we really?) but she knows he loves his daughter above all else and he did the right thing bringing her home to her mother, Lulu and Port Charles.

Anna (Finola Hughes) goes into the interrogation room to check on Valentin. She doesn’t know why he couldn’t have left it all alone. She is so frustrated, sad and heartbroken at the same time as she rattles off the list of his crimes and entanglements with the WSB, Pikeman, and all the lies. She asks him, “Why did you let them pull you back in? Why did you put yourself in a position where you could lose it all?” Valentin simply says it was for Anna.

Charlotte arrives and wants to her papa. Anna calls Lulu (Alexa Havins) to get down to the PCPD as Charlotte wants to see Valentin before he is taken to Steinmauer maximum security prison probably for life. Anna tells Lulu it would be good for both Charlotte and Valentin to have one final goodbye.

Now down at the PCPD, Lulu runs into Alexis and for the first time since Sam died the two have an uncomfortable and emotional conversation where Lulu says to Alexis she has been afraid to face her. Lulu tells Alexis she is sorry for the loss of her daughter and grateful to Sam for her life. They embrace.

Lulu takes Charlotte into the interrogation room where she runs into Valentin’s arms and they hug. He thanks Lulu for letting him have that moment with his daughter. Brennan (Chris McKenna) arrives and tells Valentin, “It’s time, your chariot awaits.”

Anna releases Valentin into Jack’s custody. She warns Brennan to make sure Valentin arrives safely to Steinmauer, if not she’ll hold him responsible. As he is being led out in chains by Brennan; Valentin looks back at everyone at the station before departing and says, “Till next time.”

The moment wrapped the most recent stint for James Patrick Stuart as Valentin Cassadine, but leaves the door open for yet another return down the line. After all, how do we know that Valentin won’t escape Steinmauer or Brennan?

This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, a timeless classic may get an updated 2025 version, when according to the latest ABC promo for the soap, Ava (Maura West) has Sonny (Maurice Benard) right where she wants him … laying on the floor writhing in pain, possibly in the throes of a heart attack and needing his heart medication which is on the ground and a few feet away from him.

Ava stands there and is hesitating to save Sonny and give him the medication. The moment immediately harkens back to the classic 1980 scene where Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) refused to help her father, Edward Quartermaine (the late David Lewis), who was having a heart attack and needed his medication. She wouldn’t give him the medication until he agreed to change his will in favor of her. However, it was later revealed that Edward was faking the heart attack to test Tracy’s loyalty. That scene, made Jane Elliot a household name, and garnered her a Daytime Emmy in 1981 in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Daytime Drama Series.

Now to present day GH! Ava needs money, and Ava wants full-custody of their daughter, Avery. What will be her bargaining chip to help Sonny? Meanwhile, Ava’s nemesis and Sonny’s daughter, Kristina (Kate Mansi), is hell-bent on taking Ava out and making her pay for the loss of her baby even though the court ruled it was an accident, Kristina can’t let it go.

In the promo, Kristina says, “Ava has to be stopped, and I have to stop her!” Meanwhile, Kristina looks to be inside a garage holding tools that could cut wires under the hood of a car. Lucky’s (Jonathan Jackson) voice is heard saying “What did you do? Kristina!” At that moment, viewers see what looks to be headlights at night of a car or two, and a female voice screaming.

Ava also has some words for Portia (Brook Kerr) and Nina (Cynthia Watros) that they should ban together to take down congressman Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison). Will they take her advice?
