THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- It seems like Sougo has been consumed by Maganagi. It seems like the Shinsengumi will also need to stop Sougo. Lol at Gintoki picking a [poop] fight with Hijikata. Lol at Sayako having no feelings towards Kusanagi. LMAO, the two are only connected by the **** they did. But it’s cool that we get some more Gintoki vs. Sougo, with good production values. LMAO at Kusanagi’s Viagra running out! I couldn’t help but laugh at the fact that the scabbard is actually Kusanagi’s daughter. That moment when Gintama makes you feel bad about a scabbard. But luckily Sougo regained conscious right before Maganagi kills Saya. Lol at Gintoki giving his blood to Kusanagi. That was some DBZ powering up right there! But Maganagi was finally defeated by Kusanagi. That moment when Gintama makes you feel bad about a dying sword. And the series always plays the right music at the right time ;_; The episode ended with a 30 second bonus anime-original scene with Sougo, Hijikata and Mitsuba from the past. The next episode will be the HDZ48 arc! Personally, the arc wasn't too great when I read the manga version. But I think with voice acting, this arc can be a blast in the anime! The preview also features a very small tease for the final arc! 5/5
